Resumo

Um relato do caso de um paciente de 16 anos de idade que fracturou o incisivo central superior é apresentado. A fractura envolveu 2/3 da coroa, comprometimento pulpar, extensão subgengival na face palatina e invasão de espaço biológico. O procedimento adoptado incluiu cirurgia de retalho com osteoplastia e tratamento endodôntico. No presente caso foi realizado a colagem do fragmento dentário com um sistema adesivo e resina composta. A colagem de fragmento autógeno mediata demonstrou ser eficaz quanto à manutenção da função mastigatória, à saúde periodontal e à satisfação do paciente.

Abstract

A case report of an 16-year-old patient that fractured her maxillary central incisor is presented. The fracture involved two thirds of the crown, compromising the pulp, extended subgingivally on the palatal and invading the biologic width. The procedure used to repair the fracture included flap surgery with a slight osteoplasty and endodontic treatment. In the present case the reattachment of the tooth fragment and the restoration were performed with a bonding system and resin composite. The reattachment of autogenous mediate fragment demonstrated effective mastigatory function, periodontal health and satisfaction of the patient.
